Manitowoc Moving Headquarters South In Wisconsin

Manitowoc Moving Headquarters South In Wisconsin

Posted by Weiss Bros on 20th Jan 2018

By now the news have been getting around the crane world, but we just wanted to throw an update on the blog about Manitowoc Company headquarters.  Manitowoc has been a manufacturer in Wisconsin since 1902, according to the original article.

Throughout the first quarter of this year, the company will be moving all of the headquarter employees to a new, 16,000 square foot building in the Park Plaza office park in Milwaukee, WI.  While some might assume the move is due to the decline in the manufacturing in Manitowoc, according to the CEO, the move will make connecting with "customers, shareholders and employees."

Now that the company will be moving out of the building it occupied for years in Manitowoc, the same of the building will be completed by the end of the first quarter.  A group of Manitowoc-based investors has decided to buy the building and will likely find new tenants for it.

The Manitowoc Company has been incorporated since 1920 and is a leading, global provider of "engineered lifting equipment" for the construction industry.  The company designs, manufactures and distributes a line of crawler-mounted lattice-boom cranes.  Many of those crane designs can be seen as scale model diecast models in our store.

What do you think of the company moving its headquarters to the southern part of Wisconsin?
