Posted by Weiss Bros on 23rd Jan 2018

Link-Belt cranes has been getting plenty of attention since it showcased the companies crawlers, rough terrain cranes and boom designs as ConExpo last year.  Link-Belt released a "telecrawler" crane that comes with a telescopic boom and at least one rental company has placed an order for 6 of those units.

In the news this week, it appears that Link-Belt has added a new distributor for the United States.  Lyle Machinery will provide sales, parts and service for Link-Belt cranes to Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee.  Effective at the start of 2018, Lyle Machinery will be focusing on those three states and provide excellent service for Link-Belt.

Lyle Machinery is a North American construction equipment sales and rental company.  The company is located in Richland, Mississippi with more locations in Alabama and Florida.  Overall, Lyle maintains a very large inventory of heavy construction, energy, company construction, asphalt, ports, scrap, material handling and forestry equipment.

Mike Ogle, North American Sale Manager for Link-Belt cranes had this to say about Lyle Machinery, "We are extremely pleased to have Lyle Machinery join our distributor family in this area of the United States. Lyle’s sales expertise as well as knowledge of parts and service will be very beneficial to the needs of Link-Belt crane customers."

The President of Lyle Machinery, Dan Lyle, had a few comments of his own regarding the partnership between the two companies. "Lyle Machinery has been in business for over 30 years and built its reputation on hard work and customer care. We empower our employees to maintain that commitment. Becoming a Link-Belt dealer and offering this product line to our customers is an exciting next chapter for our company."
