Built to complement the massive Komatsu P&H 4800XPC electric mining shovel, this 1:50 scale 92-yard TRC dipper is an impressive model all on its own.
With its massive proportions and heavy diecast construction, the dipper measures approximately 5-1/4" long × 4-3/4" wide × 4-3/4" high and weighs an incredible2 lb. 1 oz. For a model of this size, the weight and solid feel are immediately noticeable.
The dipper features an opening rear discharge door with working linkage, allowing the dumping mechanism to operate and be displayed in different positions. The upper portion includes a detailed bail and equalizer assembly, replicating the system used with the hoist ropes on the full-size dipper.
Throughout the model, you'll find excellent detailing including the digging teeth, reinforced side structures, wear surfaces, attachment points, hinge assemblies and mechanical components that give the TRC dipper its unmistakable heavy-mining appearance.
